buttoned scarf

my schedule is a bit murky at the moment, and i have soooooooooo much to tell. i will do so tomorrow. in the meantime, i'm showing off my second scarf (shorter) made from the chunky wool yarn and large yummy buttons i bought from the craft fair.

i loved working on with this chunky yarn, and i used 10mm needles knitting garter stitches only. it's pretty simple, really, and after about 5 tries, perfected my buttonholes!

if you're interested to learn how to knit, (ate mimi this is for you), check this youtube video for the basic tutorial.

what do you think? perhaps i can make a career out of it? :P

p.s.

congratulations to the americans for your new president. though i must admit i'm a conservative and a republican by heart since i've read abraham lincoln's bio, i'm all for changes too if for the better. and i will whisper a prayer for you all, God bless America!
